Dear Mr. DS and Mrs. Mo,

We as parents of Annanth Lyer are very appreciative of the education, care and attention our son has received at your school for the past 3 years. He has made tremendous progress with his learning skills and discipline. Since he will be moving on to Kindergarten at the local school, we are sorry to discontinue his attendance at the Montessori School.
I as parent have particularly enjoyed watching the individual attention which was given to each child and their parents at the school. For instance, Mrs. Mo greeting each child by his/her name in the morning everyday.
We would like to congratulate you and your staff especially Ms. Tina, Ms. Shamsi and Ms. Patricia for the effort and patience they have invested in the children especially Annanth. We have in the past, and we will always highly recommend your school to any of our friends looking for quality care and education for their children.

As a token of appreciation for the school we would like to donate $101.00 for the Library.

Yours truly,
Fehmida and Niranjan Lyer

Dear School,

I would like to commend your school on the excellent job you have done on educating my daughter, Leah, for the past four years. It is amazing and wonderful all that Leah has learned. Every chance we get we recommend your school to friends and family. With much regrets however, Leah will not be attending the Montessori School of Downtown anymore. Leah will attend elementary school in Pearland I.S.D. her last day at school will be May 31, 1993.

Lauren will not be attending school for the summer session. Lauren's last day will also be May 31, 1993. Both girls will be taking two weeks vacation the weeks of may 9th thru May 23rd.

Thank you for four years of wonderful care of our little girls. We will truly miss you.

Yours truly
Kimberly and Lee Gilbert

Dear Mr. Ahlawat,

Thank you for showing us your Montessori School on the last two occasions. Having visited a number of other daycare around the Medical Center we have decided that we would like to place both our children (Paula and Nicola) at your center. You will be pleased to know that your center was levels above all other centers that we visited. We are confident that we will be happy with our children at your school and look forward to bringing them there. We would prefer a start date on Monday August 2nd for both of the children. However we are flexible with the date and could start later in the month of August.

I will send the application form and fee and a copy of this letter in the mail. I would like to confirm the price again: $589/mo for Paula including food and $729 for Nicola.

We look forward to our move to Houston. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact either myself or Steffi at home (XXX-XXX-XXXX) or at work (tel:XXX-XXX-XXXX, fax:XXX-XXX-XXXX).

yours sincerely, Drs Adrian Lee and Steffi Oesterreich

Dear Mr. D.S. and Staff

I wanted to formally express my gratitude to you and your staff at the Montessori School of Downtown for the loving environment and excellent educational program you have offered Blake these past 10 months. Each of you have nurtured him and contributed to his growth in some way. For those of you who Kent and I were fortunate enough to get to know individually, we offer the following individual expressions of gratitude.

We would like to say thank you to Ms. Patricia for her patience with Blake in the mornings. The first 30 minutes or so were always his hardest when he first made the transition to your program from the residential home in which he had spent his first 3 years. Hence, Blake warmed up to Ms. Patricia last. She had such a kind way of giving Blake the space that he needed while loving him along the way. My husband always felt good each morning leaving Blake in her care at the breakfast table.

We would like to say thank you to Ms. Tisa. Although not Blake's teacher, we had many opportunities to observe Ms. Tisa interactions with Blake and the other children. Her energy and love for the kids is consistent regardless of the day, the weather, the location or the event. From field trips to the playground, from the Fall Festival to the Christmas Recital her patience and love for kids is self-evident. She has a natural way of making children shine in her presence and we appreciate what she offered Blake.

We would like to say thank you to Ms. Rosie. We love her for welcoming Blake as "minino" into her classroom and more recently for helping him transition into the role of "big brother." I have continually been amazed by her special ability to attend to each child's individual needs while simultaneously managing a classroom of 30 children. Blake never lacked for attention or love in her classroom. Blake's progress during these past 10 months has exceeded our expectations. From lessons in grace and courtesy to science and math, he constantly amazes us at home. I credit the rich environment that Ms. Rosie has offered him along with the wonderful philosophy of your school for the incredible growth we have witnessed in Blake these past 10 months. We will all miss her greatly.

We would like to say thank you to Ms. Maria. It is with her excellent assistance and support that Ms. Rosie is able to offer what she does. We thank her for her gentle way of helping the kids learn to respect their environment and mind their manners even when they are not inclined to be doing so! We appreciate the many Spanish lessons she offered Blake as well. After 3 years of collegiate Spanish, it amazes me that he occasionally is correcting my pronunciation... to her credit.

We would like to thank Ms. Lisa for loving all of the children of the Montessori School of Downtown so unconditionally. From her band-aids and ice to her snacks and hugs, Blake felt loved until the last minute he walked out the door each afternoon. We thank her for her kindness and for her interest in our family.

We would like to personally thank you Mr. D.S. It is the leader who sets the pace of any environment and who makes his support staff successful. Thank you for the quite manner in which you provide the background leadership and support that are so reflective in the success of your program at the Montessori School of Downtown. Your love of children is unique and greatly appreciated.

We also than the many staff who have interacted with and helped Blake along the way that we have not individually come to know. Children's light shine due to your orchestrated efforts to help them grow in such a loving and nurturing environment.

We regret the circumstances of our sudden departure. Please know that we will always look back upon our experience with the Montessori School of Downtown with gratitude and appreciation.

With the warmest regards,
Katy Bernshausen
